IALT: reflect about an article which states how in USA they are thinking about banding all laptops on airplanes.
Apparently the US is considering banning laptops from aircraft cabins on all flights in and out of the country. Crazy right? This move is part of an increase in airport and plane security. According to the article in March this year , the US government introduced restrictions on large electronic devices in aircraft cabins on flights from 10 airports, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Turkey. Airlines are concerned that banding laptops may erode customer demand. But luckily in New Zealand people are able to travel with laptops without it being banned and taken off them. So now the US Government is really considering to ban laptops from being on any sort of Aircraft cabins, and have a huge chance/risk of losing a lot of customers?
What would you do? & Would you ban laptops even though there was a huge chance, and risk you would loose a lot of customers?!
