๐Ÿ—จ️ Saint Pius X Blog Commenting - Winter Learning Journey ๐Ÿ—จ️

IAL: how to leave positive comments on other's blogs.

Yet again, another blog has been found, another blog post has been read, and a comment has been published. Saveu is a year 8 female who is currently attending Saint Pius X. She is another participant of the WInter Learning Journey. As I was looking over her blog I was able to find from the corner of my eye that last year (2016) for the Winter Learning Journey she overall placed 2nd place in her school. Another achievement I was able to identify was that she placed 3rd place in the summer learning award last year also. In reading about her blog post in the end, my goal was to leave some feedback and feedforward, so a little bit of both!

Saveu's blog post was all about her adoption animal, overall she choose to get a Morepork Owl. I was able to be informed about how the Morepork Owl, is one of New Zealand's native Owls, which was a fact I just learnt.

Keep reading as you will find my comment below this content. My comment is all about the screenshot ABOVE this content. The screenshot provided (above), is a screenshot of the work Saveu had completed.

For you to leave comments of feedback, and feedforward on Saveu's blog click HERE.

My challenge was thinking deeply into her work. To me it was plane, and in boring form no offence. I wasn't able to spot a learning intention, a engaging DLO, or a DLO but I hope to see Saveu try to work towards this as a goal.

How do you think Saveu can improve on her learning more? Or How do you think I can improve more in the blog commenting area of my learning?

Please leave a comment down below for me to use in the future.

Muchly Appreciated,
 - Losana

Oh wow. Hey, it's me Save'u thanks for the heads up about what I should work on. By the way thanks for commenting on my post. I really think that most of your post is really interesting, but is the emojis really irrelevant? I'm just thinking maybe it is maybe its not.

Saveu,
With the emoji's it is a way of engaging more people in viewing my blog posts. But thank you for the comment?!

Hi Losana and Saveu,

It is great to see that you are taking the time to read each other's work and to post such detailed comments. Losana, your comments were incredible. They were detailed, descriptive, engaging and full of emotion :) I, personally, like the use of emoticons if they contribute or emphasise a point but can understand that not every one agrees.

I really like the way that Saveu expressed an opinion about the emoticons and that you read what was written and replied with honesty but not with anger. It is so important that we do our best to read honest feedback and think about it carefully before responding.

I think that you have shown real maturity, Losana. Well done.

Cheers,
Rachel
