IALT: reflect on how I read about an article based upon, how a giraffe died after getting operation
The Wellington Zoo, has yet lost another animal, after Beni the Chimpanzee's lost due to a cut on his leg noticed very late and also due to a failure recovery toward anaesthetic, and now Tisa their most elderly Giraffe, dies after an Operation. They say Tisa was brought into the Wellington Zoo in 1991 from the Melbourne Breeding Program. It also states an interesting bit of information that she and her partner Ricky, had 6 children and with only 1 left known as Zahara.
I think it is very sad to know she wasn't able to recover after her operation, and yet she has slowly passed away.. dieing as one of the Wellington Zoo's oldest 26 Year Old Female Giraffes every to be their. I think this horrible, and knowing she had died, leaving her only child left at the Wellington Zoo Zahara, alone is very news. Imagine if you were in Zahara position.. How you feel? & What would you do?
