IALT: reflect about an article I've read about how Adele's dress took up to 500 hours to make!

After reading an article, which I had received on the website stuff.co.nz, it states that Adele's dress that she had worn to the Australian Live Tour Gown... took up to 500 hours to create. The designer of the dress, Zuhair Murad spent all that time not only making the style of the dress but also attaching 10,000 Swarovski Crystals onto the dress also. As I read this article I began to develop how important appearance is to celebrities.

Adele's dress:

Although at times creating the gown was not easy, the celebrity dressmaker (Zuhair Murad) thoroughly enjoyed working with hands-on Adele. She also told Billboard that, "She really liked the look of the gown from the runway, so our first step was to show her the gown in person. "From there on, she had decided that she wanted to make a few changes, it's a bit like adding a longer sleeve and but she liked the idea of adding more crystals to the "bodice" in order to make the gown really sparkle up on stage. Her stylist (Gaelle Paul) also shared notes on adjustments that would need to be made to accommodate the particulars of how she has to move onstage and other technical elements of the show, which I found very interesting, and helpful to the designer of the dress itself!

If you were a celebrity, do you think appearance would be your number one priority? & Why?
Something I found interesting, and I found that challenged the best of my ability in order to read this article was, reading about how if you have a concert, and your a celebrity (Examples, Beyonce, Lord, Chris Brown..) you need a 500 Hour Made dress, or $1000 dollar shoes! These days with celebrities and concerts it seems the appearance itself matter more than what people actually came to see. Though they may still get to see what they wanted, at the end not only do they talk about what they saw and what they wanted to see, but also how good they looked, or about their clothing and shoes, just not always in a negative way!
