Today, was just the same Sunday. I know it might sounds boring, but it wasn't. It was the same 1st Sunday, with different people.. and new experiences! We sang songs from himi's, sang many years ago by elder Tongans, and read verses and stories from the bible, recounting about God.

Walking into Sunday school, firs thing and straight away I realise our Sunday school teacher.. Ledea in Tongan, or for those non tongan speaker Lydia wasn't hear. Today my class (Class 3), received their bible verse, or questions and answers for us to individually perform in May, to the priest of our church, Sione.. or in english John. My class was given the same bible verse to learn. The verse we were given was in the Tongan Language..
Gaahi Lea Fakatata, Vahe 3, Vesi 1-10. But for the non tongan speakers it is pronounced Proverbs Chapter 3 Verse 1-10. Though there are 35 verses in this bible chapter, we are only expected to read the first 10 verses.

We sang songs, and stood and told God, what we wanted, and want was in our heart for us to achieve! At the end of the service, it was finished, I was shocked that it was that fast, I guess time flys when you're having fast! We had choir, practicing new different songs to sing next Sunday, Monday, Wednesday or Friday! Then it was done, and it was home time!

Have you ever been to church, If you have what was one thing you learnt from verse...?

Please leave a comment below,
Many Thanks

Hi Losana,
This is Seini, one of your blog buddies for the term. I really enjoyed reading your post about going to church on Sunday. My church does something similar to yours but sometimes our youth performs songs, action songs and drama's infront of the church. I just wanted to remind you that you needed to add Te Taiao O Tamaki on your school post labels.

Your sincerely,
Seini
