⛷️Fitness Experince⛷️

IALT: reflect on our first syndicate fitness lesson.

On Tuesday the Kia Manawanui Year 7/8 Syndicate had their first Fitness lesson! This term our Inquiry Topic is all about staying fit and healthy! And apart if staying fit and healthy is taking some time out of your life to exercise or to stay active and energised. So in our fitness timetable there are 3 different stations and for 7 minutes in each station there are 2 activities. So your group is split into 2 groups and for one half of the 7 minutes (3 Minutes, 30 Seconds) your doing one activity and for the other half you would do the next activity! The activities we have, have 3 different locations which are...

  • Push Ups & Running - Basketball Courts
  • Power Walking & Step Ups - Bike Track, & Outside The Hall
  • Mountain Climbers & Skipping - Top Courts

Because on Tuesday it was only the first lesson I have only been to one lesson! Because on Wednesday we had a Attitude Program, and Thursday we had our Anzac Service to remember those who fought for us. So everyday in every week after lunch time our fitness timetable will take over, or replace our silent reading or teacher read for round about 10 minutes.

In my group there is people such as..
  • Ana
  • Frances
  • Siale
  • Curtys
  • Vuni
  • Sene
  • Agnes
  • Irys
And many more of peers in both the year 7/8 Kia Manawanui classes.

Something I found as a highlight of doing this was I was able to work collaboratively and interactively with not only those peers already well known by myself but also those who I haven't sent as much time with.

Something I think I can also work on next time is finding new ways to spend more time with my peers while at the same time creating or completing new fitness activities!

Thank you for viewing and please leave a comment below with feedback and suggestions on what could be improved on next time.

Thanks Again...
