🍎Staying Fit & Healthy🍎

IALT: reflect and explain what the TPS Inquiry Model is for Term 2 2017! 

Every term @ TPS we have a different Inquiry Focus! From "The health and taking of our Tamaki Environment" last term to a completely new, different and fresh focus this term which I am proud to say for Term 2 2017 our new Inquiry Focus is... "Staying Fit & Healthy". Even though we've only been learning about this since the beginning of Term 2 we've done a lot for work around this topic. For example our class made a WHARE TAPA WHA made out of FRUITS, VEGETABLES & more healthy food choices. We also started a Kia Manawanui Fitness Activities! In order to keep ourselves fit healthy and active we created 3 different groups with 2 different health activities in each group. These help for us to keep ourselves active, fit and healthy which a huge part in our WELL-BEING.

After learning about this topic I 've finally realised that I need to start being careful with the fat-foods, takeaways, and foods unnecessary and unhealthy to be eating.

After learning about this particular topic it got me thinking about my food choices and how it affects myself in both positive and negative ways.

How do you think your food choices affect your well-being, and How? Also how do you think you can change for the better?! 

What do you think are healthy breakfast meals, lunch, and dinner meals also add in snacks! And maybe your advice could help me out!
