IALT: set a good example for my younger peers in room 8 to follow.
Now, because room 10 had to attend an important talk based on Food for Thought, which is related to our Inquiry topic last term. Room 8 took their place but before getting started we were put in pairs to lead by example with our room 8 buddies. Ana and myself, were put with Arizona and Alyssa.
We started off with the run, we set a pace we could all the way finding that we were the 2nd group who reached back, being the first girls. As Siale, Gary and their buddy beat us. But I hope to beat them next time (you know?!). Anyways we then moved on to the first station which was squats and step ups. I was so amazed with the speed they had in moving consistently I began to challenge myself. With doing the squats we made sure our shoulders were should qise apart, and made sure when we went down we had a bottoms pushed out, heels staying on the ground, and going down low. Then we went onto the step ups. It was quite boring to be honest, because the steps were wet we had to be very careful in case of tripping, slipping of falling off. It was important to avoid injuries. But anyways, with star jumps and reverse lunges.. We did great well, in my view point. As we did star jumps we jumped high, high fiving both our hand together above our head which was fun and simple. Miss Komor demonstrated what a reverse lunge is which is going back. Kind of like this...
But before we knew it it was over, and time to say goodbye. Honestly, it was fun to do something new, with new and different people. I was able to see what the younger ones of the school were able to achieve! Next time we could compete against classes?
Would you be willing to buddy up with a younger age group to see their capabilities?
Please leave a comment down below... I hope to get back to you!
Muchly Appreciated!
