The world's oldest KILLER whale.. known as Granny is dead as we speak. According to Kiwi Kids News she was at the age of 106 Years Old, She was last seen and spotted at Haro Strait... But sadly scientists have lost hope that they will ever see her again. Researches have been studying her ever since the shocking year of 1971, which was also the year they estimated her to be 60 years of age. She shocked scientists, espically knowing that killer whales only live to the age of 60-80 year old, but she was 106 year old before passing away. Experts have been studying whales in the North Pacific Ocean, called the Southern Resident Killer Whales (SRKW) since the early 1970s. Granny is said to be the matriarch of the                                                group.

What do I think about this article?

I think this is a historic article, and event that I have now learnt about, after reading this article. I feel as if I have more knowledge about Killer Whales. I also think this is an amazing piece of information, knowing that Granny  was only meant to live  between 60-80 years... and she had lived till the age of 106 before death! I think this is something amazing knowing that, a killer whale only meant to live between 60-80 years old, and made a amazing life worth of 106 years!
