IALT: reflect on n article based upon a shocking World War 2 Bomb found in the city of Thessaloniki in Greece.
In the small city of Thessaloniki in the wear abouts of Greece, a huge leftover World War 2 Bomb has been discovered by road workers. The bomb weighed a shocking 225 KGS! The Officials have just announced that the World War 2 bomb is degraded in order to identify whether the bomb is an Allied or German bomb! Because of the finding of this Bomb, more than 70, 000 people have been evacuated from the wear abouts, and near the finding of the bomb in Thessaloniki. The military say this is the first type of bomb ever to be found Greece! They are now in progress of defusing it's denator. The military said that they would try to defuse the bomb detonator before taking it anywhere near the device and also to an army firing range, where a decision be made as to how best neutralise it.
My thought's on this article?
I think this will go down in Greece history, knowing that they have been able to find a historic World War 2 Bomb, which is according to my calculations 78 years old. Knowing that World War 2 started at the year of 1939, ending at 1945.. and adding up the years to 2017 is 78! This is an historic article, and event that deserves to go down in history of Greece, and Thessaloniki. I wonder if it will ever explode?
This article has brought attention to my eyes, not only did this article catch my eyes, but also my interest. Discovering this bomb during road works, in the city of Thessaloniki.. which is in the country of Greece, is very interesting... I wonder if there are anymore bombs around Greece, and if there is, Will they ever explode?
