...World's Shortest International Flight Starts...
In Australian, an Australian airline has just set out, what they see it as, the World's Shortest International Flight, taking just up to 8 minutes... WOW!!
The world’s shortest scheduled flight is in the Orkney Islands in Scotland. It takes just about two minutes to fly from Westray to Papa Westray and even less if winds conditions are good, AWESOME, and amazing you get heaps more time right?.
The airline who runs the service, Loganair, recently celebrated taking its millionth passenger on the route.....!!! The longest non-stop flight in the world in terms of distance, is Dubai in the middle east to Auckland in New Zealand just like that. The flight rotates and takes around 17 hours and yet it has the ability to cover 14,000km.
My Opinion:
Honestly my opinion based on this news article is SHOCKING, mainly because finding out the places you can go to.. in just 8 or 2 minutes is UNBELIEVABLE. At the same time, it might not have been the best option! I mean like you never know the family on the ship may have been looking forward towards spending time with the family.. or even having some time to relax for themselves while a long ride take itself away! But then again, on the other hand it may of been created for the better, for example if someone was in a rush to either go somewhere, or do something in that case this airline created this for a awesome reason! Lastly, I think the creator of this magnificent creation had done an amazing job. The brain's behind may be thanked a lot!
