So Yesterday, didn't really go according to plan. Athletics day was cancelled, and everyone was d
devastated! So because of that Miss Aireen, and all the other senior syndicate teachers, discussed if it were still sunny in the last block... we would have a Senior Syndicate Athletics Block. Then after lunch it was sunny!! WOOHOO! All the classes meet out on the rugby field, waiting for their year levels to be called out to race. Year 4, 5, 6, 7, and lastly 8. All in gender though.. so for example they would call up, Year 1 girls.. and so on with the year leveled girls, then once you've reached the end which would be the year 8 girl.. then after all those races.. they would do the exact same with the boys! Everyone was running and pumped with energy! Once all the races had finished, they changed up the rules! So, because their were only 10 lines.. you got to choose any 10 people you want to race, and this time it didn't really matter about year.. or age! Anyone could race who ever they like. I unfortunately didn't race, because I was called to the Music Room, to record the songs with the other Music/Band Members, well the vocalist of the band. Which were, Raena, Petra, and also Willie! Plenty of people raced, and though some of them came last, or they didn't get the place they had aimed, or wished to get still there was a smile of their face. Mainly because to them it wasn't about winning, it was about having fun and learning new things, and also making new connections!
WOULD YOU WANT TO COME TO THE SENIOR SYNDICATE'S ATHLETICS DAY?
