Scandinavia - Reading Research

WALT: research about a country and state, 5 interesting facts based on the country!

Fact 1:

The world's largest population of arctic, reindeers herders can be found in the Norway....

Which means that some animals around the North Pole can be found there.

Fact 2:

Scandinavia has a huge population of over 24 million.

Which also means more than 24 million people living there.

Fact 3:

They have amazing cities in Scandinavia!

Fact 4:

Scandinavia is a region in the Northern Europe!

Fact 5:

The languages spoken in Scandinavia include Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Faroese.

Today this News Article is based on, a Father and son who was in a serious car crash with another, mother and daughter in Huntly! The father and 2 sons poorly died while being in the Car Crash!

Kiwi Can Lesson - Reflection

Kiwi Can Lesson - Reflection

Today for "Kiwi Can".. Both classes (Rooms 9 & 10) were given the chance to watch a movie for the 2 hours, of the middle block! We had the chance of watching a movie today.. because it was the last lesson of the term, for both classes. To even out the pick of the movie we were given the same paper and pen, to vote for a movie! The movie who had the most votes was the movie "Wreck It Ralph"! The movie was based on the game "Wreck It Ralph", and how he wanted to be the "hero" for once, and the "good guy" for once! So he then set off to prove those people who, said to him "He's just a bad guy" wrong. He earned a medal, and he was proud until he came a across a strange girl! And he helped her to race, but the only thing was was that, she glitches. Which was weird, because the reason she glitched, was because the "king" of that kingdom.. cut her wires and locked them up! Unfortunately that was the fairest we got with the movie.

This is my Bloom's Taxonomy.. which is based on the article, " Roald Dahl Remembered 100 Years After Birth"! It talks about how he was creative enough to create his own words/word meaning, to use for his books to help inspire children! They say every story he wrote he used basic yellow paper, and pen!
