🎲 Boardgames Thursday 🎲

IALT: reflect on the poster I created and made based on "Boardgames Thursday"!

Today we've decided to add a new activity to the week, which is Boardgames Thursday. All student councilors will be hosting and holding this activity! And tomorrow will be the first time it will be held, therefore the first impression must be a good one right? So in order to get this activity successfully going we've asked all staff members to bring along any board game(s)  they have lying around in their home to let others well our school mates play and have with them. We are hoping to see a lot of students, and if not well maybe a lot more in the upcoming events of this activity.

Something I enjoyed while doing this activity was thinking about all the positive things that could, or can happen while doing or whie in the process of this activity!

Something I found challenging was thinking about all the reasons why some might not come. Therefore maybe posters aren't enough! So stay tuned to find out some of the idea's I might come up with to get people coming to this event!

Here is the poster I've created based on Boardgames Thursday!

What are your thoughts on this poster or this activity?

Please leave a comment below, and thanks for viewing! Remember to leave positive feedback and feedforward for me to use in the future.

Many Thanks 😁

🍏How Often Do We Eat? - Poster 🍏

Image result for frutis

IALT: reflect, create and share with you my thoughts on what the key points of the article is.

After reading about an article that in my opinion basically just talks about your hunger, and your health I've been able to create a google drawing on my own personal school account, defining all the idea's or the main key points the author of this article has been or wanted to talk about. As I was reading through this article I was able to identify big words which was very unfamiliar to me.. For example some words in this article I found was..
  • Metabolism
  • Hypoglycaemia
  • Hubbards
And other very unusual words. But with a little help from "Google" I was able to find their definitions and put it into their own words.

I worked on this task with my peers Metui. In order to view more of Metui's work effort further down will be a link to Metui's on personal school blog so you can leave him, and I good comments related to our/my educational work.

Click here to view the following article I have read!

Some challenges I found while working through this task was defining the words I was or am unfamiliar with. But as I said further above this text I was ale to use my common sense, and therefore search the definition and from there, putting it into my own words.

Something I enjoyed about completing this task was being able to identify new words inside the human body! For example the different types of blood, hormones your body releases and many more things.. at different times.

What are your thoughts on this article. From feedback to feedforward and also how else do you think I can improve on my work more! Or even improve on my blog posts!

🎡 Karaoke Friday - TPS Seniors 🎡

Image result for karaoke friday

IALT: blog about how Akanesi & myself, completed working on a poster based on a lunchtime activity held by some of the student councilors every Friday lunchtime.

Today, Akanesi and myself were working on a poster for "Karaoke Friday". If you had read some of my earlier blog posts in the week you will find that every lunchtime starting from this week their is always a lunch time activity open for some all senior or some all junior activities. Here are a set of the days and what we will be doing, along with the location...

  • Monday - Zumba Monday (Juniors) - Hall
  • Tuesday - Dance Class (Seniors & Juniors) - Room 10
  • Wednesday - Zumba Wednesday (Seniors) - Hall
  • Thursday - Dance Class (Seniors & Juniors) - Room 10
  • Friday - Karaoke Friday (Seniors) - Hall
As you can see there are some lunchtime activities, for the seniors alone, or the juniors alone, or even them together. The reason for that is because we don't want to bring junior along to a class or activity that will challenge the too much. Also because it may be suitable for the age groups we allow.

I will be hosting Zumba Monday, & also Karaoke Friday. I came up with the idea of Karaoke Friday when I decided that people are too afraid to sing, or express their love for singing therefore this is an activity where they can show who they really are and step out of their comfort zone!

I look forward to seeing what I can do help others become more confident as they progress, more and more with this lunchtime activity.

Please leave a comment below, with feedback and feedforward and suggestions on how you think I can improve more and more with my blogging.

Thanks for viewing.. :)

πŸ••Zumba Monday & Wednesday PosterπŸ••

IALT: blog about and share with my blog audience the poster I made about Zumba Monday & Wednesday!

Today I created 2 different posters about Zumba Monday and Zumba Wednesday. Zumba Monday is where on Monday lunchtime, from 1.10-1.40 there is basically a 30 minute program for the Tamaki Primary Juniors to loosen up, and move to the grove off the song we play and dance to! The poster for Zumba Monday basically informs everyone about, where it is, what it is, who it's for and also just a detail and motivation to come down! It's basically exactly the same for Zumba Wednesday but the only changes is with the 2 posters.. Different Designs, and for Wednesday it's a day or a 30 minute activity for SENIOR ONLY to boogie woogie.

So basically each day of the week (Starting next week), some student council's at Tamaki Primary will on hold lunch time activities either in the classroom or in the school hall, to keep people entertained at lunchtime! For example of Monday and Wednesday it's Zumba, On Tuesday and Thursday it's dance class, and lastly on Friday its Karaoke Friday.

Zumba Monday's Poster:

Zumba Wednesday's Poster:

Something I like about running little entertainment groups at lunchtime is that it gives people a chance to either express themselves as a Zumba person, a Dancer, or a Singer! Nor that but it also allows for them to come out of their comfort zone and show who the real them!

Something I see that I might find as a challenge in the future is that at first people may find they are too shy to come, or too scared to come due to people not accepting them for who they or due to people judging them by the things they improve on, like, or the things they want to be!

What do you think about these groups?
& Also has your school ever had a groups like these?

Please leave a comment on what you think about this, with feedback and feedforward to help myself progress and achieve more in the future.
