Leadership Program Reflection!!!

I am learning to reflect on what happened during the Leadership Program!!!

Earlier today in the first block all Student Councilors were told to meet in the Board Room, for the Leadership Program.
Every FRIDAY morning around 9.30am, all Student Councilors have the opportunity to meet altogether as a group to help each other build yours, and anothers confidence up!

Today the first thing, we did was when each Student Council stood up in front of everyone and talked about their HIGHLIGHT of the week, which was basically something positive, and their LOWLIGHT, which was something negative!

We were then given a task to complete which was to imagine as if, you and your partner where new teacher enrolled at Tamaki Primary, and you were just about to meet your first classroom! We had to think about how we would introduce ourselves, and also what we would say to our classroom.

Once we had completed that activity we then were given the opportunity to play an energiser. The energiser is technically a game between the work, or activity given for us to complete!

We played Maths Tigy, but instead of Math Questions we were given General Knowledge Questions to answer...

The second activity we were given was to reflect on the other groups including ourselves, that we're imagining as if they were the teachers enrolling and as if they just had met their new classroom!

We had to basically had to think about "What they did good", "What they did bad", and "What they need to work on" for next time!

I found the Leadership Program very interesting, the key point I think why the Student Councils attend this Program, is for us to have the opportunity to be more confident around crowds and audiences!

Please leave a comment, and I hope you've enjoyed my Leadership Program Reflection!
